Our providers go beyond the diagnosis and treatment of skin disorders to emphasize patient education and disease prevention.

Annual skin checks are recommended for all patients. If it has been over a year since your last skin check, please contact our office to schedule your appointment today.

At times it is necessary for one of our providers to take a small sample, or biopsy, of your skin in order to confirm a diagnosis of inflammatory disease or skin cancer. Because Dr. Pena completed a pathology residency in addition to dermatology, all insurance companies we contract with approve the reading of your pathology by Dr. Pena. All biopsies taken at Skin Solutions are analyzed personally by Dr. Pena. For cases warranting more in-depth review, Dr. Pena consults with local and/or national dermatopathologists.
